A complete and transparent account of how royalties are collected from streaming platforms and stores, calculated, and paid out to enarumusic White-Label customers and their artists.

enarumusic retains 10% of net royalty receipts as its service fee across all plans. You receive 90% of net royalty receipts collected by enarumusic from Streaming Platforms on account of your Releases. This rate is fixed and guaranteed for the lifetime of your account under the current Terms.
Example: If a Streaming Platform remits EUR 1,000 to enarumusic on account of your Releases in a given reporting period, enarumusic will retain EUR 100 (10%) and remit EUR 900 (90%) to you.
“Net royalty receipts” means amounts actually received by enarumusic from Streaming Platforms after deduction of any withholding taxes, platform fees, or currency conversion costs applied by those platforms — none of which are controlled by enarumusic.
The following royalty streams are collected and distributed through the Platform:
Physical distribution royalties, neighbouring rights, and public performance royalties collected by Collecting Management Organisations (CMOs/PROs such as BUMA/STEMRA, SENA, PRS, ASCAP, BMI, etc.) are not collected or distributed by enarumusic. You and your Artists are responsible for registering with and collecting from relevant CMOs directly.
Royalty statements are provided through your platform dashboard and cover all Releases active during the reporting period. Statements include:
Reporting periods follow the reporting schedules of individual Streaming Platforms, which typically report on a monthly basis with a 30–90 day delay from the end of each calendar month. enarumusic makes reasonable efforts to make statements available within 14 days of receiving data from each platform.
Royalties are paid out to you on a monthly basis, provided your account has a balance equal to or exceeding the applicable minimum payout threshold:
enarumusic currently supports payouts via bank transfer (SEPA and international wire). Additional payout methods may be introduced at enarumusic's discretion. You are responsible for providing accurate and current payout details. enarumusic is not liable for failed or delayed payments resulting from incorrect banking information.
You are solely responsible for determining and managing royalty splits between yourself and your Artists. The Platform provides tools to configure per-artist royalty split percentages within your white-label portal. These splits are applied to the net amount payable to you (i.e., after enarumusic's 10% has been deducted).
Example: If enarumusic pays you EUR 900 and you have configured a 70/30 split with an Artist (70% to Artist, 30% to your label), you would retain EUR 270 and pay the Artist EUR 630. enarumusic is not responsible for the administration or payment of Artist splits — that is your contractual obligation.
You must ensure that you have a written agreement with each Artist that clearly sets out royalty entitlements, payment timelines, and accounting practices, in compliance with applicable music industry regulations and contract law in your jurisdiction.
You are solely responsible for the correct reporting and payment of taxes on royalty income in your jurisdiction, including income tax, corporate tax, and VAT where applicable. enarumusic will issue invoices or statements as required for your accounting purposes.
Some Streaming Platforms may apply withholding taxes to royalty payments, particularly for US-sourced income (under IRS regulations). Where withholding has been applied, this will be reflected in your statement. enarumusic cannot refund or compensate for withholding tax deductions made by Streaming Platforms.
If you are VAT-registered within the EU, reverse-charge rules may apply to the enarumusic service fee. Please consult your tax adviser for guidance applicable to your specific circumstances.
If you believe a royalty statement is inaccurate, you must notify enarumusic in writing at royalties@enarumusic.nl within 90 days of the statement date. We will investigate and respond within 30 working days. Statements not disputed within this period are deemed accepted.
enarumusic can only correct royalty discrepancies arising from errors on its part. Discrepancies arising from Streaming Platform reporting errors must be taken up with those platforms directly; however, enarumusic will assist in escalating disputes where possible.
Upon termination of your account — whether by you or by enarumusic — any unpaid royalties accrued up to the termination date remain payable to you. Final statements will be issued within 60 days of termination, and any outstanding balances above the minimum threshold will be paid according to the standard schedule.
Royalties that accrue after termination (e.g. from streams of Releases that have not yet been taken down) will be collected and paid for a period of up to 12 months post-termination, after which the account will be fully closed and any remaining accrued balances below the minimum threshold will be forfeited.
Royalties that remain unclaimed due to missing or invalid payout details will be held for a period of 24 months from the date they become payable. After this period, unclaimed royalties may be transferred to a music industry charity or fund at enarumusic's discretion, in compliance with applicable law.
enarumusic may amend this Royalty Policy from time to time. Any reduction in the royalty rate or changes to payment terms will be communicated with a minimum of 60 days' prior written notice, giving you sufficient time to review and, if necessary, terminate your account before the change takes effect. Changes that are beneficial to you (e.g. higher royalty rates, lower thresholds) may take effect immediately.
